What da heck is a Blog?

So here goes.....

This is gonna be my first ever blog. So bear with me people. It's taken me this long to actually start this, and now I'm finally doing it. *LOL*

The original term "weblog" was actually coined by James Barger way back in 1997 . So imagine that, blogs have been around for quite a while now and it's just been starting to catch on locally. James Barger is an american, and he was one of the first bloggers that's out there. - Source - The shorter term for weblog was coined by someone else, his name is Peter Merholz. Sadly there's not much info on that guy.
