Bruno's Barbers Open for Service in BF Homes

So recently I've been hanging out a lot at Starbucks with my friend Mon and I noticed that David's Salon is gone. My friend says that they moved over to Pergola accross the road. And then eventually I see that something was being done with the space left over by David's Salon.

After a few days of hanging out there, I see the sign Bruno's Barbers being mounted up on top where what was once David's Salon. My friend says that his former stylist from David's told him the place's floor area rivals that of Pancake House and Starbucks put together. So I was just thinking to myself that the rent there must be killer. Problem with this place is that Starbucks takes up 80% of the parking most of the time and the rest by Pancake House. Rarely did David's ever have space for parking for their customers. Things like that are bad for business. But if David's actually lasted over 10 years there, I'm sure Bruno's Barbers can do about as well as they did.

It's not really open-open yet, but soon enough it will be.

Stinky Grate At Starbucks BF Homes

Just wanna rant about that stinky ass sewer grate at the Starbucks, BF Homes branch. It really stinks of God-knows-what. They really should fix that stink problem.

Whenever I park there, I small all sorts of unmentionable things. One time, I was with my friend I was parked right underneath it, my friend almost hurled. Thank God he didn't though. He was still in my car. Haha. Makes me remember what happened to him when he got into an accident. His cousin saw him right after his car accident and the first words that came out of her was , "I'm not lending you the car anymore!". So anyways back to my rant, I really don't know who to talk to about this stench problem. If it's supposed to be with Starbucks or the local Homeowners Association.

A Friend from Davao

Met my friend the other night at Starbucks BF Homes. Hung out with him for a bit. His name is Migs, I haven't seen or talked to him in a long time. He moved to Davao to study and work there. He was gone for a good long while, around 5 years, I think.

Update on the Maynilad Construction on Tirona St.

While I was trying to sleep in the middle of the afternoon, I heard this familiar sound of jackhammers punching through cemented roads. I just finished watching 22 episodes of an anime I wanted to review on my other blog site. While it's nice to hear that there are people actually giving a damn about providing water to our subdivision, I wonder what's taking to darn long! Sure the rains may have delayed the rehabilitation of our water pipes but sheesh, can't they do it a little faster? A little bit of rain and they stop working and delay it for as long as possible. If it were up to me they would've been done a month ago. It's taking them so darn long to finish ONE STRETCH of street. Albeit it's about a kilometer long but that's no excuse. But yeah, thanks for that Maynilad, at least you're in. Finally the smell of chlorine in my tap. LOL.

Shawarma Snack Center President Ave. Nightmare

My friend Mon and I had a late night snack at the local Shawarma place at President Avenue last night. And as usual, my glutonous self ordered more than what I could normally eat. I ordered the Deluxe Shawarma and the Shawarma with Arabic Rice. Loved the hot sauce. Their garlic sauce, though didn't stay the same over the years. It wasn't made fresh and it was made out of Lady's Choice Mayonnaise or the like.

Don't get me wrong, the food tasted great and I stuffed myself 'til I couldn't walk. But man today, I have been crapping my bum out. I dunno if it was the meat or just some form of indigestion. I had to go to the toilet three times today, and twice last night! I guess some of the stuff that my friend Race said about the food there that gave him LBM. Guess I'm gonna either eat less or not eat there at all anymore. But come to think of it, it's probably the mayo. I had a lot of the garlic sauce last night, and usually I don't put a lot because I prefer my food spicy. Hmmm.....

Just wanted to share my experience.
